Robert’s ballet classes are noted internationally for inspiring and re-energizing dancers from intermediate to professional levels via his present, energetic nature and musicality-infused teachings. Based in a technically precise classical tradition, his classes possess a distinctly up-to-date dynamic flow.
Robert’s choreography combines his innovative signature movement style with ballet technique. Dancers experience the choreographer create “in the moment” as he investigates new and different movement possibilities, and are guided through his movement exploration method, building a choreography throughout the workshop.
Uggi is born out of years of teaching ballet and choreography. Robert guides dancers by delivering a series of inspiring suggestions rather than structured description of movement. Dancers are encouraged and supported to explore suggestions, and discover how to interpret them both internally and externally while moving in space.
