Contemporary Fusion Workshop
We’re thrilled to welcome guest artist, Greta Sugai, back to Crested Butte this August! Greta joined us last summer to teach a contemporary fusion workshop and choreograph a special piece for our Mountain Movers Dance Company. She will once again choreograph and set an original piece for our Mountain Movers Level 2 dancers, which they will perform at competitions next spring. Greta will also teach a Contemporary Fusion Workshop open to any middle and high school dancers. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from a talented and enthusiastic artist!

Greta Sugai
Greta was born and raised in Colorado and is now a traveling contemporary fusion teacher and choreographer. In 2015, she developed her own traveling dance company, Messengerz Dance Co., in which she led her company to New Zealand for a month to teach dance camps to students of all ages. She has been a part of several dance companies and currently dances with Chadash Contemporary Dance Movement in Denver as a professional level dancer. She is also a dance professor at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, CO for their developing dance program. Greta specializes in guest teaching, choreographing and creating workshops across Colorado and many other states.
